THE BRAVE HEART OF THE BOSPHORUS

A wonderful surprise at the Istanbul Boat Show… SEDDÜLBAHİR is before us with all its beauty, as if born again. Even when it snowed in the middle of the winter, “Seddülbahir” would depart from Kanlıca, and pushing through the foamy lush waves, go all the way to the Black Sea, then to Kızkulesi, and back to the boat house of the waterside in Kanlıca. “Seddülbahir” was the “brave heart” of the bosphorus, when no one would sail… All would know that the renown surgeon Prof. Süleyman Dirvana was at the wheel. The 92 year old “Seddülbahir” has an interesting story.  As a young medical doctor, Dirvana finds a wrecked boat. He takes it to the “boat yard” in the bosphorus.
